Integrated Treatment Systems - Industrial Reverse Osmosis Water Filtration Systems

In many past projects, we have had the responsibility of integrating multiple water treatment and process functions with RO membrane purification on an integrated skid system. Such integrated processes have included bulk media prefiltration, ozonation, UV, antiscalant injection, post pH correction injection as well as specific customer components. These specialized integrated systems come on a unitized skid frame with central water and power connections.

These systems have been produced for applications such as humidification control, environmental fog and misting, hothouse/agriculture, food processing, bio-manufacturing, power plant process water, potable water production and others. RDWS-TV-RO-SKID Packaged Skid Mount Reverse Osmosis is pre-plumbed and pre-wired in most cases with one inlet connection, one drain connection, one water use connection, and one electrical connection to allow for fast hassle free installation. From the delivery of the equipment to your facility to the set up and use of water - In hours not days!

How It Works: User Friendly ! Everything within the skid is pre-plumbed and wired. There is a single point power inlet connection and the customer has to simply connect to the storage tank and then to his usage. Once our Integrated Skid Mount RO is installed and feed water is made available, the Storage Tank will begin to fill with product water. The product water will continue to fill the Storage Tank until the tank float switch closes and shuts the entire system off. At the same time, while the tank is filling, concentrate water will begin to flow into the drain system. The concentrate water will continue to flow to the drain system until the tank float switch closes and shuts the entire system off when the storage tank is full. When there is a demand for water, the skid mount Repressurization System is activated and draws product water from the Storage Tank. The product (RO) water is then delivered with the on skid re-pressure system to your usage point. If enough product water is used to the point where the float switch is reopened, the Skid Mount RO System is automatically reactivated and begins to replace the product water that has been depleted.

TSM STAINLESS STEEL SERIES REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM QUICK INSTALL GUIDE - EASY START-UP EASY MAINTENANCE 1. Mount or place the TSM reverse osmosis unit at the desired location. The unit may be wall mounted using the holes at the rear of the frame (1/4” lags or bolts) . Install rubber feet if shelf mounted. 2. Provide pre-filtered feed water. The TSM requires a 10 micron, 2.3"x20" sediment filter on the feed supply. If the feed water is chlorinated, a 2.5"x20" GAC or carbon block filter should also be employed after the sediment filter. Both types of pre-filter units are available FREE for a limited time from RainDance Water Systems if needed. Note: Additional pretreatment may be required see specs below. 3. Plumb 1/2" OD plastic tubing from the pre-filter to the TSM FEED connector. A 90- degree elbow adapter is provided with the TSM if needed for proper tubing layout. 4. Plumb 1/2" tubing from the TSM PRODUCT connector to the product water bladder storage tank. An elbow adapter is also provided for this tubing run if needed. If an atmospheric product water storage tank is to be used it will be necessary to modify the electric wiring in the TSM tank pressure switch to accommodate a tank float switch. Contact us for instructions regarding such modifications. 5. Plumb 1/2" tubing from the TSM DRAIN connector to a convenient waste drain. Local plumbing codes may require use of an air gap for such drain connection. If so, consult a local plumbing service for the proper drain connection arrangement. 6. Open the VESSEL PRESSURE CONTROL knob full counter-clockwise. Place the OFF-AUTO lever on the tank pressure switch in the OFF position. 7. Apply feed water pressure to the TSM unit. Check for leaks at the feed tubing connections. 8. Check the power specification given in the unit label (located on the base plate near the left side). Plug in or connect the correct AC electric power to the TSM unit. 9. Place the OFF-AUTO lever at AUTO. The TSM pump should start. There may be 2 or 3 re-starts as the pump clears air from the plumbing lines and filter and pressure vessels. If the unit re-starts continuously, either the feed water plumbing is inadequate for the pressure/flow requirement of the TSM unit or the pre-filter(s) are presenting too much flow restriction to the feed stream. 10. Open the Flush Valve (turn the black arrow knob to point down) for 30 seconds to help the air purge, then turn the valve knob back to the pointing out position. 11. Slowly turn the VESSEL PRESSURE CONTROL clockwise until the VESSEL IN PRESSURE gauge indicates 150 psi. 12. At this point the TSM system should be operating normally. When the product water tank pressure reaches approx. 60 psi the TSM will shut down. When the tank pressure drops to approx. 40 psi the TSM will re-start.
