The Iron Eater systems
are fully delivered with filtration media already in the tanks.
We do not ship filtration media separately for our customers
to pour in and assemble. New: User friendly no-tools needed to
attach control valve to tank - simply screw control valve on
tank when ready for installation. This saves time, money, and
headaches for the self installer, your local plumber, or dealer
!
The Iron Eater iron
filter water softener is a self-backwashing system that automatically
removes the trapped contaminants within the filter bed and washes
them down the drain. This is accomplished with the electronic
control valve that is mounted on top of the Iron Eater.This valve
is controlled by a meter, that calculates the amount of water
being used.Once the meter reaches x amount of gallons, It then
initiates the backwash cycle that cleans the bed of filtration
media and resets it for the next period of filtration.O
The system connects
to the main line of your home and filters all the incoming water
to it. It requires a nearby power outlet for the control valve.
Low maintenence. Just add sodium or potassium pellets
to brine tank.

The Res-Up and Res Care Cleaner will clean the fouled media bed of the Iron Eater
and restore the exchange capacity of the media. The Iron Eater
media can become fouled with excessive high iron, manganese,
hard water and other contaminants that will affect the performance
and efficiency of the system. Excessive iron fouling can cause
channeling, pressure drop, loss of capacity, hardness and iron
leakage. Regular use of Res-Up will minimize fouling and extend
the resin life of the Iron Eater. FREE Res-Up & Res-Care Cleaner must be added to
